What SUMAI is for
- Helps you think through something at work that has caused concern
- Supports preparation to speak to someone about your concerns
- Supports you to mentor others to feel safe to speak up
- Helps you understand the difference between a safe and an unsafe atmosphere
- Provide a critical friend to senior leaders to consider organisational issues about speaking up
- Supports leaders’, managers’ and team-leaders’ wanting to develop skills to create and maintain atmospheres that enable speaking up
- Encourages psychological safety and learning
- Complements existing organisational frameworks
- Recognises situations change and different contexts need different solutions
- Relevant to a wide range of work types and organisations
What SUMAI does not do
- Will not judge you or your actions
- Does not monitor, analyse, or surveil you or other people
- Is not acting in a Human Resources, legal, safeguarding, or regulatory compliance capacity.
- Does not provide legal documents, policies or organisational procedures
- Is not for the purpose of instigating investigation or disciplinary action
- Will not diagnose clinically or give therapeutic guidance
- Does not assess legality or risk
- Does not retain or reveal the details you share with SUMAI
SUMAI is independent of your organisation's and third-party routes to take action or seek clinical assistance. This service cannot do these on your behalf. Please use your organisation's procedures or contact the relevant emergency or regulatory services where necessary.
